📋 Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the SBI PO role in 2025, the candidate must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Education: Graduation in any stream from a recognized university. Those awaiting final year results can also apply provisionally but need to produce proof before the interview round.

  • Age Limit: Minimum age is 21 years, and maximum age is 30 years as on April 1, 2025. That means candidates should be born between April 2, 1995 and April 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

  • PwBD (General): 10 years, PwBD OBC: 13 years, PwBD SC/ST: 15 years

🧪 Selection Procedure

The recruitment will be carried out in three main phases:

1. Preliminary Examination

This online test includes three sections:

  • English Language

  • Quantitative Aptitude

  • Reasoning Ability

Total marks: 100, Duration: 1 hour. There’s no sectional cutoff, but your overall score matters for shortlisting.

2. Main Examination

This round consists of two parts:

  • Objective Test (200 marks): Includes General Awareness, Data Interpretation, Reasoning, English, and Computer Aptitude.

  • Descriptive Test (50 marks): Includes letter writing and essay writing.

Only those who clear mains are invited for the final stage.

3. Final Stage – Psychometric Test + Group Exercise + Interview

A psychometric assessment will evaluate your personality traits, followed by a Group Exercise and Personal Interview. This final stage carries 50 marks.

Final selection is based on a weighted score of:

  • Mains Exam: 75%

  • GD/Interview: 25%

Newly recruited POs will start with a basic salary of ₹48,480 (including 4 advance increments). The salary structure falls under the range of ₹48,480 to ₹85,920.
